I Love shoes. It doesn’t matter if they are 5 inches high or a pair of dank kicks….I want some Isabel’s on my feet. Isabel Marant brought sneakers to the runway. I am about to make the street my runway……
Neo-Gypsy?!?! I think so. As I sit here typing, and I think back to myself about my recent venture at Coachella. I can not help but think that there are so many people out there trying to be original yet at the same time that originality was repeated over and over again on every girl I saw.
High hiked waisted shorts, camel toe and all. Young barely legals naked wearing gogo dancer and maybe some stripper outfits in night desert storm.
Hey guys I am all for trends, but in my mind it should be at a minimum. Putting every trend in one outfit does not make you look like you are a celebrity in the gossip mags, it looks more like my mother trying to pull off the clothes that I wear. Just totally wrong.
Sometimes simplicity is way better. Trust me the older I get I look back at photos of myself and think oh lord what the hell possessed me to wear wide legged pants, oversized flannels and oh gasp the whole white t-shirt tucked in to boxers look.
Taking a much needed break I find myself online shopping, I love online shopping. Reviews, instant clicks, and well I do not have to brave the masses at the mall. I fumbled across this lil bobble. Still in trend, yet simple. I may layer one other thin necklace and a few rings…..but I will leave the high waisted, coochie showing, mid drift baring shirts to the folks I saw at Coachella.
My newest listing, I am seriously getting some fun kicks out of creating my eBay listing. Spring cleaning feels amazing. Adding items every day, anyone else doing their spring cleaning on ebay?!? My store http://stores.ebay.com/For-the-Love-of-Pretty its like having my own little boutique….now I want to find a real commercial retail space haha..
It is so hard for me to find jeans. I am 5’ a size 0 or maybe 1 but I am not flat, and my legs are longer that requires a longer inseam. My biggest gripe is finding the right pair of jeans, then having to get it it tailored (cost more $) and sometimes the tailor ruins it by cutting of the details that I like the hem. Not to mention flares become an awkward looking bootcut gone wrong.
My newest favorite denim of all time, that I can not get enough of is Textile Elizabeth and James Jeans in the style of Jimi after Jimi Hendrix of course. The Olsen Twins, created this line and it fit perfectly for little people like me with no alterations!
I got three pairs of these jeans in different washes cause they are so amazing!
Why I like them?!?!
Remember MCM from the 80s?!?! it’s making a come back…and I am I have the first on board ticket. Thank you Christmas Santa!
