I Love shoes. It doesn’t matter if they are 5 inches high or a pair of dank kicks….I want some Isabel’s on my feet. Isabel Marant brought sneakers to the runway. I am about to make the street my runway……
One of my motos, is don’t let the trends work you. You work the trends. Better yet, throw it all out the window and create a style of your own.
Native to Los Angeles, a woman that has worn many hat. Past Industry Make-up Artist turn model, actress eventually to finding my love as a on-air personality/ host, entrepreneur…tech geek, digital marketing producer.
How can so many hats fit in one closet?!?! Like many people who live in Los Angeles, we all wear many hats, work various industry jobs, etc. And we look fabulous doing it.
I often get asked about my unique sense of style a kaleidoscope of eccentric, hobo, California comfort, designer , to my endless collection of vintage one of a kinds.
Am I a millionaire. I am not. I live on a average American budget attending school simultaneously working. I pay rent for dockside marina property, utilities, books, the usual expenses that you have.
Yet, how is it that my closet resembles a fashionistas heaven. I didn’t spend millions, or thousands even. I’m the equivalent of the “extreme coupon-er” of fashion.
It is a must in an industry where personal branding is everything. Talent and knowledge is key we all know that, but packaging will keep you the head of the pack
I’m working on a new blog that chronicles stories from my experience in the entertainment industry, but more fun for you my shopping secrets. Creating the perfect outfit for less than you’d pay for your dollar meal from McDonalds.
We don’t have to spend last months rent to look fabulous
A preview of my fun fashion on less than 20 dollars….
Stay connected for the new blog.
Who am I watching being interviewed during the NBA Finals post game interviews? Basketball players or the next indie rock band that touts the cliche’ “I am so hipster it hurts, that I need to wear faux glasses.”
I know you have noticed it too. Lebron, Wade, Westbrook, Urkle….ok Steve Urkle doesn’t play for the NBA. However it seems that these NBA players are all taking fashion advice from our favorite nerd in suspenders.
I have mixed feelings, ok no I don’t. I hate it.
First of all why are they all jockin’ each others’ swag? Don’t they have any originality what so over, or are they all sponsored by the same “nerdy glass” company.
I can see it now a bunch of East Sider flannel shirt, levi’ wearing hipsters’ banded together to sponsor these NBA players to promote their oh so counter-culture lifestyle.
Maybe they should wear them during the game and get real prescriptions, maybe they would make some of those free throws. Better yet give them to the referees, so they can see better and stop calling shady fouls.

Redefining, what use to be considered an art that represented defiance and associated with society’s unwanted.
We all have heard and ventured downtown on Thursday nights for Downtown Art Walk. A night that attracted a scene of people with all alternative motives for joining in on the festivities. Either it be another night for organized bar crawls, art connoisseurs that sipped on wine to view various elaborately presented art pieces, or the foodies that had the hunger to discover and consume every food truck in sight.
Summer is here, and it is time to venture west for a whole new adventure. Being a native to LA, art was and still is all around me. Art isn’t defined by the confines of a picture frame. It is the energy of the people on the street and the clothes on their backs, the unexpected graffiti mural that is planted on a bus bench, to the artisan crafts hand made by the man sitting on the corner selling his craft for survival.
What if I told you there is a place that encompasses all of Los Angeles’ electrifying unique culture? I’ll let you on in a little secret…there is a whole new way to put the cliche Sunday Funday to work.
Cahuenga Corridor Street Market, that launched May 6th is heading full force every Sunday through summer. A all day event that all attendees are bound by similar interest. To be exposed to the unknown and underrepresented.
Cahuenga Corridor Street Market differentiates it self from the rest, collaborated “by artist for artist.”
An array art in many forms that represents the city I grew up in unique culture. Music, street graffiti art (once looked down upon) that is getting exposed and appreciated by all despite previously preconceived notions, clothing designers, and artisan crafts. This street market goes far beyond just a its name, it is a place for exposure, knowledge, and collaborative inspiration.
This day long street market is seriously one created for everyone, families, tourist, or just another native Los Angelinos like me rediscovering the beauty of LA all over again.
Don’t miss out on this new eyeopening event, where LA is truly viewed through a new lens. Inspire your senses, and get exposed to why we live and breath LA.

Winter Kate Spring 2012 look book heats up the desert with sheer new maxi and tribal prints.
Her look book is out and if you don’t already know Winter Kate is one of my favorite lines. She did it again with her smashing easy to where boho chic looks.
The visuals are phenomenal and every woman can find a piece in this collection, to bring that boho goddess that exist in all of us.
Pair these flowing fabric master pieces with a fitted leather jacket, to make that extra bold edgy modern statement.
The clothes are not he only things that catches the eye in these images.
Everything from the hair to make up , represents the effortless flawless look of what Spring should be.
Natural textured bayaloge highlighted hair, to the minimal flawless make up. Focusing on groomed yet un-tweezed brows, framing a sun kissed pallette on the face.
