Am I a millionaire. I am not. I live on a average American budget attending school simultaneously working. I pay rent for dockside marina property, utilities, books, the usual expenses that you have.
Yet, how is it that my closet resembles a fashionistas heaven. I didn’t spend millions, or thousands even. I’m the equivalent of the “extreme coupon-er” of fashion.
It is a must in an industry where personal branding is everything. Talent and knowledge is key we all know that, but packaging will keep you the head of the pack

I checked the website out, and I found everything from “shabby chic” furniture, to YSL’s being sold from Samantha Lim’s closet. A treasure trove that can be found on your phone, computer, or tablet….this is the world we live in. Thank you eCommerce, now my closet can be filled with retail happiness.

Spring is right around the corner, and I always get asked what is a fun new way of changing up your look for spring with out a big commitment.
My favorite way to spruce up my spring look is by picking out a new lip shade to rock. It is cheap usually 15 and you don’t have to commit i.e hair color or cut….or $$$ on a new spring wardrobe.
This season is all about pop colors. When I say pop color, I mean choosing a vibrant shade and adding it to your make up routine. Keeping the face mostly neutral use one vibrant color to high light one of your favorite features. Mine are my lips, I usually wear very natural make up and I pop on a bright new lipstick shade.
Others may choose their eyes, I use a very nude palette of eye shadows on my eyes and add a bright eyeliner, I love to use a black eyeliner and rim my eyes and then add a bright MAC pigment on top to make it pop such as, Teal Pigment.
No matter what you decide, do not be afraid of color, color can be your best friend if done right. Remember a little goes along way. There is a fine line between staying with in trend and going overboard and looking like a Drag Queen. However if that is your intention like Miss Dame Edna by all means go full blast with it.
Just remember to have fun and experiment. Don’t follow the trends, start making them!
Can’t afford $225 textile elizabeth & james pocketless jimi jeans?!?! I found a great alternative at a price that no one can resist $6.99 from forever 21. I am wearing them currently and they feel exactly like the name brand ones I owned that cost me about $200+. The fit is perfect with a slight stretch to accentuate your behind. The stretch adds to amazing comfort and durability. I went back again and they didn’t have my size. Now I am hating on myself for not buy 3 pairs while I could have.
I encourage everyone to go buy a pair of these
